Sometimes there is nothing going on, for what seems like ages, and then all of a sudden life seems to jump into a warped combination of fast-forward and simultaneous activity.  Everything at once, too soon, events arriving anticipated but yet without sufficient preparation.

I’m leaving for Peru in a week for a business trip.  As I’m in the coffee business, that means both office visits and out in the growing regions.  I expect the trip to be awesome, and I’ll post photos after I return.

In preparation for the trip, I thought I’d re-read the César Vallejo on my shelves. Which turns out to encompass three largish volumes, and I don’t know I can get through it before the trip.  Meanwhile, a post on Chris Green’s book Resume is languishing half-finished.  I’m still finalizing the trip details (who, when, where — I sound like an unimaginitive reporter) and I have some basic trip research for my travel colleagues yet to compile.

Time to catch up with my life, I guess!
